Exercise and fitness has always been an on/off relationship for me. One minute I’m doing 5 PT sessions per week, the next I haven’t set foot in a Gym for 6 months, and it all seems to be down to setting goals.
That’s why I’ve decided to become a triathlete and work towards 6 plus events per year and onwards to the Ironman events. Setting regular goals and getting immersed in 3 sports seems to be keeping me much more motivated and interested than just training at the gym.
This site is about my journey towards better health and greater fulfilment – over time I would like this to build into a community of triathletes blogging, sharing ideas and discuss training and equipment, all helping keep each other motivated and abreast of the latst training techniques.
